Nordic Educational Inquires
Series Description
Nordic Educational Inquiries is a scholarly book series in partnership with the Nordic Educational Research Association (NERA). For over five decades, NERA has cultivated a vibrant research community dedicated to exploring education through distinctly Nordic lenses. This series continues that tradition by offering a platform for critical, practice-oriented, and theoretical inquiries into education across the Nordic region. The Nordic approach to education is inspired by both continental and Anglo-American traditions, yet it also reflects a unique and evolving perspective. This perspective has gained growing international recognition for advancing principles such as equity, inclusion, and democratic engagement. The series aims to make Nordic educational thinking more accessible—both within the region and beyond—by serving as a communication bridge between Nordic and global traditions. In an era of growing internationalization, Nordic Educational Inquiries invites dialogue across borders, disciplines, and paradigms.
