We are happy to invite you to our pre-conference activity at VIA University College in Aarhus. It will take place the 3rd of March at 3-5 pm.
The pre-conference is a seminar about school development research conducted by researchers at Via University College. It is an annual pre-conference hosted by the conveners of the network and school development researchers at the arranging university of the NERA conference.
The purpose of the pre-conference is to learn more about school development research in the Nordic countries: What are researchers in the school development field focusing on and how?
The topic for 2026 years pre-conference activity is: School development research for children, teachers and school leaders
Agenda:
- 15:00 – 15:10 Introduction (topic and participants) with coffee/tea and snacks
- 15:10 – 16:10 Presentation of three school development research projects conducted by researchers at Via University College
– Playful Belonging, Lise Bjerg Mølgaard
– Sensemaking: a theoretical perspective and a practical issue for school development – in a loosely coupled organization, Frode Boye Andersen
– From Induction to School Development: Unlocking the Potential of Teacher Start-Up Programmes in Danish Schools, Anne Krøger & Line Husum
- 16:10 – 17:00 Dialogue based on presentations – How do we define school development research in our days?
