School development network activities – NERA 2025

Our network will arrange a pre-conference activity on March 4th at 15:00-17:00.   

The pre-conference activity is a seminar about school development research conducted by researchers at University of Helsinki. It is an annual pre-conference activity hosted by the convenors of the network and school development researchers at the arranging university. 

The purpose of this annual network activity is to learn more about school development research in the Nordic countries: What are researchers in the school development field focusing on and how?  

The topic for 2025 years pre-conference activity is: School development research in collaboration

Agenda:  

15:00 – 15:15

Introduction (topic and participants) with coffee/tea and snacks

15:15 – 16:00

Presentation of school development research conducted by researchers at University of Helsinki (research in the Innokas network led by Laura Salo and in the MångSam project led by Pia Mikander and Anna Slotte)

16:00 – 17:00

Dialogue based on presentations – How do we define school development research in our days?

Refreshments will be served!
