The title of the symposium is: <strong>Truths and traditions: Five research studies about how high-quality ECEC is supported in the Nordic countries.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The structure of the session is following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1)The presentation from Norway presents a critical analysis of the play-learning balancing actin Norwegian educational policy frameworks and curricula.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2)The presentation from Iceland focuses on children\u2019s perspectives on belonging during transition from preschool to school.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3)The presentation from Sweden interrogates policies and processes for assessment and documentation in preschool through to primary school, including young gifted children.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>4)The first presentation from Finland has a focus on how continuity for children with SEN is supported during transitions from early childhood education to pre-primary education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>5)The second presentation from Finland deals with justification of the need for support in the pedagogical documents of ECEC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Welcome to meet and discuss with us!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>NERA network 3, Early Childhood Research was selected to present the NERA at the American Educational Research Association conference in Chicago, Illinois, USA on April 13-16, 2023.
