School development is defined as spontaneous and/or planned changes and improvements for schools as organizations to succeed better in their striving.
The school development network has a broad perspective and focuses on research about different aspects of school development, including for instance:

The aim of the network is to stimulate researchers interested in school development to meet, exchange and discuss school development research in the Nordic countries.
