The motivation for the network was to create a platform for the emerging post-structuralist theories in the educational field.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As the theories developed into a stronger focus on posthuman theories, a new name was introduced: Post-approaches to Education. The name was changed through an email decision in 2016 and used for the first time in 2016 at NERA in Helsinki.
