{"id":399,"date":"2015-06-30T08:07:49","date_gmt":"2015-06-30T08:07:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nfpf.net\/nera-network-21\/?p=399"},"modified":"2023-05-31T10:43:53","modified_gmt":"2023-05-31T10:43:53","slug":"announcement-for-sera-sponsored-nw21-paper-session-at-sera-2015-aberdeen","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nfpf.net\/nera-network-21\/2015\/06\/30\/announcement-for-sera-sponsored-nw21-paper-session-at-sera-2015-aberdeen\/","title":{"rendered":"Announcement for SERA sponsored NW21 paper session at SERA 2015,\u00a0Aberdeen"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Following the pre-conference outcomes in NERA 2015, The SERA (Scottish Educational Research Association) invites NERA Network 21 to hold an invited NW21<strong> (<\/strong><strong>Politics of Education and Education Policy Studies)<\/strong> session at their 2015 conference, 18-20 November, at the University of Aberdeen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The session can take the form of a paper session or symposium. NW21 members are invited to organise a symposium session or submit individual papers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>SERA has generously waived the fee of three NW21 delegates (320 \u00a3, appr. 450 Euro).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Paper proposals require a 250 word abstract. Symposium proposals should include a 200 word abstract of the symposium theme and&nbsp; 250 word abstracts from each participant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Proposals should follow the following requirements:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>thematically relevant for NW21 <strong>(<\/strong><strong>Politics of Education and Education Policy Studies)<\/strong><strong>,<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>ideally relevant for SERA 2015 theme \u201cEducation as (if) the whole Earth mattered\u201d.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>suitable for an international audience<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>All proposals should be sent to <a href=\"mailto:taina.m.saarinen@jyu.fi\">taina.m.saarinen@jyu.fi<\/a> by August 7, 2015.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Proposals will be selected by NW21 and SERA jointly.
